Oshkosh pedestrian hit by two vehicles
OSHKOSH, Wis. - Police say alcohol may be to blame in the death of a pedestrian.
The 53 year old woman was walking Friday morning in the dark when she was hit by a vehicle in the roadway.
Police say as she lay in the street around 1:50am, a sport utility vehicle then also ran her over.
The woman later died at a local hospital.
The Oshkosh Northwestern reports the driver of the first vehicle, a 45 year old woman, was taken into custody.
The driver of the SUV never stopped and police would like to find that person.
The pedestrian's name is being withheld pending notification of family members.
