MILWAUKEE - A 13-year-old girl faced a courtroom in Milwaukee on Friday as she is accused of a deadly hit-and-run crash.

The girl's attorney is fighting to move the charges to a children's court instead of adult court, where her case is being held.

Her mother apologized in public about a month ago for the crash which killed Ronald Forbes.

That crash happened near the corner of North 65th Street and West Hampton Avenue.

Prosecutors claim the girl was behind the wheel, street racing with other teenagers when she struck Forbes, 57.

According to the criminal complaint, a friend of the girl claimed she intentionally struck Forbes and then sped off at about 80 miles her hour.

The teen told Milwaukee police she never saw Forbes on the bike.

Her attorney asked for a psychological examination.
