SHEBOYGAN, Wis. - A Sheboygan county man who was babysitting his girlfriend's toddler when the boy died is a free man, after a jury went with the defense notion that it was all an accident.

Twenty-eight-year old Joshua Keenan walked out of court Friday, being found not guilty in the death of two-year-old Trenton Flickinger.

According to the Sheboygan Press, Keenan said he awoke to hear barking dogs and the boy screaming back in February and when he picked Flickinger up, the boy slipped from his grip and fell to the floor.

Keenan testifited that the boy then seemed to have a seizure.

He died two days later of a traumatic brain injury.

Keenan could have faced up to 15 years in prison.
