Firefighter hospitalized after falling off roof on Milwaukee's east side

MILWAUKEE- A firefighter is recovering at Froedtert Hospital after falling off a home on Milwaukee's east side.
Around 8 p.m. Friday firefighters were putting out flames at 1809 N. Cambridge when a firefighter fell off the roof.
Authorities told TODAY'S TMJ4 the firefighter fell about two and a half stories. The firefighter's injuries are believed to be non life-threatening.
The fire was on second floor of a home and spread to the walls and the attic. The flames were extinguished quickly.
The amount of damage to that home is unknown.
It is unclear what started that fire.
