Man hurt after crashing motorcycle down embankment
SHEBOYGAN - A 28-year-old man from Sheboygan is facing a number of charges after losing control of his motorcycle and crashing down a steep 40 foot embankment toward Lake Michigan.
According to Sheboygan Police, it happened about 2 this morning near 3rd Street and Clifton Avenue in the city. Police say the man lost control on a slight curve. The bike slid sideways and went off the embankment.
The department says the driver was standing at the top of the embankment by the time police got to the scene.
The driver has been cited for operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated, unreasonable and imprudent speed, operating without insurance and operating a motorcycle without motorcycle license endorsement.
