Push for new Milwaukee County Parks system

MILWAUKEE - There's new information on the future of the parks system in Milwaukee County.
There's a growing effort to create a new parks district after long-time Parks Director Sue Black was suddenly fired last week.
A group called "The Park People Board" wants to have its own taxing authority and no ties to county government.
Any changes would have to be approved by the County Board and signed by County Executive Chris Abele, who fired Black for undisclosed reasons.
