MILWAUKEE - A UWM Police officer was being remembered Friday morning.
Brett LaVelle, 23, died on Wednesday. There was no initial word on how he died.
He graduated in 2007 from Martin Luther High School in Greendale.
Mourners were to take part in a visitation and funeral on Monday morning, starting at 10:00 a.m. at Our Father's Evangelical Lutheran Church on the 6000 block of South 27th Street.
A visitation was also scheduled at Prasser Kleczka Funeral Home, also on the 6000 block of South 27th Street, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Sunday.
