Dismembered remains found in sewer unidentified
MILWAUKEE- The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner's Office says it hasn't been able to identify human remains found in a sewer in Milwaukee.
Medical examiner officials released a report Thursday which said the black male victim was dismembered with an unknown type of tool. His torso and upper arms remain missing.
The remains were found May 30 by public works employees removing debris from the sewer near N. 40th St. and W. Garfield Ave.
Investigators got help from the Wisconsin Crime Lab in its efforts to identify the remains.
TODAY'S TMJ4 first reported the gruesome discovery.
