BROOKFIELD - No one from Wisconsin won the $320 million Powerball jackpot, unless they happened to buy their ticket in Michigan.

The jackpot had Wisconsinites hoping their lucky numbers would lead to dreams of the good life.

As the anticipation built for the drawing, so did the sales for the fourth-largest prize in the lottery's history.

Joe Isaac has a lot going on -- a new house and his wife's birthday this week.

His special Powerball picks fueled his chance for millions.  "Some of the new house numbers, our wedding anniversary, (Wednesday's) date," said Isaac to TODAY'S TMJ4 on which numbers he chose.

For other players, it's not about the numbers, it's location, location, location.

Mike Block tried his luck last spring and it paid off to the tune of one million dollars.  He played for keeps this time around -- at the same store where he made his million.

"I just think, 'I'll win it real big this time,'" believes Block.

Other winning stores were swamped by customers looking for lucky lightning to strike twice.

Vaygon Enterprises on Milwaukee's south side sold a $2 million Powerball winner last May.

"We've had winners in Mega Millions, SuperCash, and a few scratch offs," said manager Abi Alvarado.  "So far (Wednesday), I know I've probably sold a couple hundred already."

The odds of winning it all are one in more than 175 million.

"I usually don't buy them unless it gets to a couple hundred million or so," said Ahmed Elrifadi.

Business owners are hoping for a spike in sales as folks lined up for some last minute luck.
