WAUWATOSA - One of the three people treated from the Sikh temple shooting at Froedtert Hospital has been released.

Froedtert Hospital officials said Wednesday afternoon that Santokh Singh was released.

Meanwhile, wounded officer Lt. Brian Murphy remains in satisfactory condition while Punjab Singh remains in critical condition.

Lt. Murphy was shot eight or nine times during the shooting on Sunday, August 5.

"These senseless gunshots wounded a heroic officer of the law and two peaceful persons praying in their house of worship," said Dr. Lee Biblo, chief medical officer for Froedtert Hospital.

All three of them underwent surgery after the shooting.

A fourth woman suffered a minor injury when she was grazed by a bullet.
