Wis. incumbents survive legislative primaries
MADISON, Wis. (AP) -- More than a dozen incumbents have survived Wisconsin's legislative primaries.
Thirteen incumbents beat back challengers in Tuesday's elections, including six Republicans and seven Democrats.
Two incumbents, Democrats Jason Fields and Peggy Krusick, both of Milwaukee, lost their races.
Forty-four legislative districts saw primaries Tuesday.
The outcomes solidify the match-ups for the Nov. 6 general elections.
Half-a-dozen of the incumbents who survived Tuesday's primaries won their seats outright. No one from the opposing party has registered to run in those districts in November.
