MILWAUKEE- A Milwaukee woman says a man beat, kidnapped and tortured her inside a north side apartment.

The 21-year old woman told TODAY'S TMJ4 the man forced her into his SUV near 38th and Hampton and tied her up inside her apartment.  A police search warrant shows the man held the woman against her will.

"He beat me. He burned me with cigarettes," said the woman.  "He stripped me naked. He tied me up. He put me under a box spring mattress. He beat me with shoes and broom handles."

This apparently went on for hours at a North Avenue apartment.

The man then called a family member to watch over her as he made a run.

"When he left the house he was going to buy a dog kennel to place me in," said the victim.

She was tied up, but able to get the knots loose.  She tried to escape but was placed in a room.

This time she decided to jump out of window.  She eventually escaped and flagged down a car on North Avenue.

Police have arrested a 26-year-old man.  Charges are pending.
