MANASSAS, Virginia - Wisconsin Congressman Paul Ryan wasted no time, hitting the campaign trail Saturday with presumptive Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney, after Romney announced that he had chosen Ryan as his running mate.
In a live report with Today's TMJ4's Charles Benson in Manassas, Virginia, Saturday night, Benson had his hands on one of the first Romney-Ryan campaign signs.
Benson says about 8-thousand people attended a rally in Manassas, Virginia, Saturday.
Ryan's aides say all of this seems to have come together within the last two to three days.
