MADISON, Wis. (AP) -- Gov. Scott Walker's wife Tonette has been released from the hospital following an appendectomy.

Walker spokeswoman Julia Lund says that Tonette Walker was released from the hospital on Friday and resting at home.

She had the surgery on Wednesday after being admitted the night before with stomach pains.
