Rafter's body found on Wisconsin border
IRON MOUNTAIN, Mich. (AP) -- Authorities say the body of a rafter has been found in the Menominee River along the Michigan-Wisconsin border.
The Dickinson County sheriff's department in Michigan tells WLUC-TV (http://bit.ly/NnxkbR ) that the 59-year-old man was part of a group rafting on Piers Gorge when the raft tipped over Tuesday afternoon.
Authorities say his body was found later in the day. His name and hometown weren't immediately released.
