MADISON- The four Republicans running for Wisconsin's U.S. Senate seat continue sparring with each other.

The campaign trail is becoming rockier for the Republicans as they remain on the attack.

Political newcomer Eric Hovde used a debate on WTAQ radio to confront Mark Neumann about recent negative ads,

"What you've done through the whole campaign is attack me and try to say I'm not Conservative," said Hovde.

Neumann countered, "To put he, himself on the air saying things that he, himself has said, which is what our ads do -- is fair game."

The four-way Republican primary featuring Tommy Thompson and Jeff Fitzgerald takes place in two weeks.  The winner faces on Democrat Tammy Baldwin in November for Herb Kohl's soon-to-be vacant U.S. Senate seat.
