WHITEWATER - A missing UW-Whitewater student has been found dead just outside the city limits.
The Walworth County Sheriff's Department says the body of Benjamin Fuder was located in the Whitewater Limestone Quarry early Sunday. He was last seen in downtown Whitewater on early Saturday morning at about 12:30 a.m.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Fuder was from Edgerton in Rock County.
A statement from the sheriff's office didn't indicate whether authorities suspect foul play. The investigation is ongoing.
