Driver dies when SUV rolls in Waupaca County
WAUPACA - Authorities in central Wisconsin say an SUV rolled four times after the driver lost control, killing the driver and injuring the four occupants.
The Waupaca County sheriff's office says the crash was reported Sunday about 4:45 a.m.
Deputies say the driver was eastbound on Highway 10 near Highway 49 when the driver lost control and went into a ditch. The driver apparently overcorrected, causing the vehicle to overturn and roll.
Two people who weren't wearing seatbelts were ejected.
The driver was killed. The other four were taken to hospitals for treatment of injuries ranging from moderate to life-threatening.
The names of the people involved haven't been released.
