GRAND MARSH, Wis. (AP) -- Enbridge Energy Partners says one of its pipelines has leaked about 1,200 barrels of oil in Wisconsin.

The company said in a Saturday statement that the leak happened Friday afternoon near Grand Marsh. It says it was alerted by a pressure drop in the line, which was immediately shut down. Crews were sent to the site of the leak.

Enbridge says the oil was contained in a field, mostly on the pipeline right-of-way. No one was hurt.

The company says the cause of the spill is still under investigation.

The leak happened in a 24-inch pipeline that mainly carries light crude oil to Chicago area refineries.
