Bucks release 2012-13 schedule; open season in Boston

MILWAUKEE- The Milwaukee Bucks will open their 2012-13 regular season against the Celtics in Boston on Friday, November 2.
The Bucks, who released their regular season schedule on Thursday, will host the Cleveland Cavaliers on Saturday November 3 to as their home opener in the newly named BMO Harris Bradley Center.
The Bucks will host 21 weekend games on the 2012-13 schedule in their 45th season as an NBA franchise.
Key games on the schedule include:
-The 2012 NBA Champion Miami Heat making two trips to the BMO Harris Bradley Center (Dec. 29, Mar. 15)
- Western Conference Champion Oklahoma City makes its lone Milwaukee appearance on Mar. 30
- Two home match-ups against the Central Division Champion Chicago Bulls (Nov. 24, Jan. 30)
- The lone BMO Harris Bradley Center appearance of the season by the Los Angeles Lakers on Mar. 28
The 2012-13 schedule features just three road trips of three games or more, including two four-game trips.
In the first, the Bucks visit Toronto (Jan. 13), the L.A. Lakers (Jan. 15), Phoenix (Jan. 17) and Portland (Jan. 19).
The second comes in the midst of a road-heavy finish to the season in which Milwaukee will play six of its final eight on the road, including a four-game Southeast Division swing with stops in Miami (Apr. 9), Orlando (Apr. 10), Atlanta (Apr. 12) and Charlotte (Apr. 13).
The Bucks will host a season-long four-game homestand in late-March/early-April with visits from the L.A. Lakers (Mar. 28), Oklahoma City (Mar. 30), Charlotte (Apr. 1) and Minnesota (Apr. 3).
