Garbage truck strikes man on Milwaukee's north side

MILWAUKEE - Authorities have gone to the scene of a collision where a garbage truck struck a man on Milwaukee's north side.
The collision happened at about 9:30 a.m. Thursday morning near the corner of North Teutonia and West Florist Avenues.
TODAY'S TMJ4 says that, according to initial reports, he was walking in the cross walk when the garbage truck struck him.
He has what are believed to be substantial injuries.
