MILWAUKEE- Extreme heat is headed to the Milwaukee area again on Wednesday.

The National Weather Service has issued a Heat Advisory for all of southeastern Wisconsin from 11 a.m. until 9 p.m. Wednesday.

Storm Team 4Caster Brian Gotter predicts that temperatures around the Milwaukee area should come close to 100 degrees.

In the meantime, temperatures reached a high of 86 degrees on Tuesday at 1 a.m.

The daytime high was 78 degrees, with an average around 80 degrees.

According to Storm Team 4Caster John Malan, we are at just under two inches of rain for July, with the average temperature up nearly eight degrees.

If the Milwaukee area maintains an average temperature nearly eight degrees above normal, Malan said this July will rank as one of the warmest ever.
