Convention center employee bound, robbed
GRAND CHUTE, Wis. (AP) -- Police say a masked gunman entered the Fox Cities Convention Center, tied up an employee and fled with her car and purse.
The female employee had just opened the office in Grand Chute Sunday when the man came in and asked for a tour. Authorities say when she refused, the man pulled out a gun and led her into an office where he tied her hands and put duct tape on her legs and over her mouth.
The suspect cut the phone line to the business and fled in a 2001 white Honda Odyssey. Police say the employee was not seriously injured.
