MILWAUKEE - An attorney from Bayside is on the other side of the law, accused of embezzling more than $700,000 from his law firm.

Brian Mularski was scheduled to appear in a Milwaukee courtroom on Thursday afternoon.

Mularski allegedly scammed Eisenberg, Riley and Zimmerman out of more than $700,000.

The criminal complaint says he deposited the money, intended for insurance companies, into "the defendant's personal account at U.S. Bank" in the name of "Mularski Law Office."

Prosecutors say this went on for three years, from 2006-09.

When members of the firm confronted Mularski, they say he "admitted that he had stolen money and promised to pay them back."

He repaid more than $200,000 of it, but that was it.

TODAY'S TMJ4 went to Mularski's home in Bayside, but no one answered the door.

Mularski no longer works for Eisenberg, Riley and Zimmerman.  That law firm's staff refused to comment, due to a protective order and pending litigation.

In 2010, the Wisconsin Supreme Court revoked Mularski's license.
