Body of West Allis musician recovered from Wind Lake
WIND LAKE - A family is now in mourning after the body of a West Allis man who went missing in a Racine County lake is finally recovered.
Rescue crews found the body of Dennis Flemion, 57, late Tuesday night. He drowned in Wind Lake on Saturday, July 7.
Crews searched four days, using high-tech sonar equipment to find Flemion.
Flemion was a popular musician who played with the Smashing Pumpkins from 1996-1997, singing backup vocals with his brother on two tracks on their 1998 release Adore.
Flemion and his brother also founded the controversial independent rock band The Frogs with his brother.
