Deadly shooting ends violent Milwaukee weekend of 3 murders
MILWAUKEE - Milwaukee Police spent Monday morning investigating a deadly shooting on the city's north side, the last in a weekend of three murders in the city.
The shooting happened just before 12:00 a.m. on Sunday night near the corner of North 14th Street and West Fond du Lac Avenue.
Police say a 30-year-old man was shot to death.
There was no immediate word on any suspects or a motive for the shooting.
Two other murders also happened.
One murder involved a 41-year-old who was shot and killed near the corner of North 21st and West Wright Streets.
The other involved someone who was 57 years old. They were stabbed and killed near the corner of North Hopkins Street and West Sheridan Avenue.
A suspect was in custody for that stabbing.
