MILWAUKEE - On Friday, your grocery receipt could be the ticket to get in free to Summerfest.

It's also a day where many young music fans will get a "Big Time Rush."  That boy band will bring plenty of kids and their parents to the Marcus Amphitheater.

Special guests Cody Simpson and Rachel Crow open up the show at 7:00 p.m.

The first 1,500 people with a receipt that shows the purchase of two Malt-o-Meal bag cereals will get in free.

Summerfest is again relaxing its water carry-in policy.  People can bring in their own un-opened water bottles, empty camelbacks or empty collapsible water bottles.

Those people will also join thousands of others in enjoying musicians like Dennis DeYoung.  He will play the music of Styx at 9:45 p.m. at the BMO Harris Pavilion.

Bad Boy opens up at 8:00 p.m.

It's a double-bill at the Miller Lite Oasis with DJ Paul Oakenfold headlining at 10:00 p.m. and Minneapolis hip hop group Atmosphere at 6:30 p.m.

Grace Potter and the Nocturnals headline a triple bill at the Briggs and Stratton Big Backyard with Jonathan Tyler and the Northern Lights at 7:30 p.m. and Breton Sound opening at 5:00 p.m.

Adelita's Way hits the Summerfest Rock Stage at 10:00 p.m.

Roots R&B soul revivalists Fitz and the Tantrums perform at the Potawatomi Bingo Casino Stage at 10:00 p.m.

The hard-rocking AWOLNATION plays the U.S. Cellular Connection Stage at 10:00 p.m.

For local music, see Ikarus Down at the Cascio Interstate Music Groove Stage at 9:00 p.m.

College rock staples OAR hit the Harley-Davidson Roadhouse at 10:00 p.m., but be sure to get there early for tonight's sleeper pick.

Jones Street Station is a bit of an anomaly in modern indie rock, a true throwback to the blues-influenced Americana of yesteryear.  Check them out at the Harley-Davidson Roadhouse at 8:00 p.m.
