MILWAUKEE - A long-time member of the Milwaukee Brewers' gameday grounds crew has died.

Jeff Adcock, who served 33 years with the Milwaukee Brewers, passed away after collapsing while working in the Brewers dugout during the Brewers-Arizona Diamondbacks game on Sunday afternoon.

Adcock, the lead of the grounds crew, collapsed early in the game at Miller Park, then was transported to Froedtert Hospital in Wauwatosa.

Adcock was pronounced dead at the hospital.

"We are all saddened by the news of Jeff's passing," said Bob Quinn, Brewers Executive Vice President of Finance and Administration in a statement.

"He was a part of our organization for many years, and was a fixture during games in our bullpen area. Jeff developed many friendships with our uniformed staff, and he will be missed by all of us. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family."
