RACINE - On Monday, election officials were expected to finalize the recount results in the Racine State Senate recall election.
Republican State Senator Van Wanggaard lost to Democratic challenger John Lehman by around 800 votes in the June 5th election.
As of Monday, initial recount results showed Lehman with the lead.
GOP members could still challenge the results in court.
If the results hold, Democrats would take control of the State Senate.
