MILWAUKEE - It's hot again in Milwaukee, and it's going to get hotter before it cools off.

"Remember last week's dry, very warm stretch?  Well, that's how much of this week should unfold again," warns Storm Team 4Caster Scott Steele.

He tells us that only a brief set of scattered precipitation will offer a break from the dry but humid and very hot weather around our area.

"The exception will be today as a frontal boundary meanders to our south, close enough to trigger some isolated or widely scattered showers and storms."

After that, there won't be much rain falling on us to bring relief from the heat and the dry weather.

"An upper level ridge is building again through the center of the nation.  This should create more quiet conditions through the rest of the week, and with plenty of sunshine temperatures will return to above normal readings...though cooler at times along Lake Michigan's shoreline."
