Enjoying Summerfest on a budget
MILWAUKEE- You can find reduced admission deals every day of Summerfest.
And there are good deals once you're on the grounds.
Whether you're by yourself or with a family of six, TODAY'S TMJ4's found the secrets to checking out and filling up at the big gig for next to nothing.
Nikki Tsakonas and her family love Summerfest, and for them it's a family affair.
The Brookfield family scored free tickets from their employer. On Friday, they're saving what money they do spend on treats that cost just a couple of dollars. "We save money by eating before," said Nikki Tsakonas.
Over at Martino's, they'll help fill you up for just a few bucks. They have a Chicago style hot dog for $5, but for the ultimate bargain they're also hawking this two foot long dog for $25.
"It's meant to be shared with four to six people, now the thing you don't have with me right now is the bag of fries that comes with it," said T.J. Anderson of Martino's.
If you want to score an even better deal, fifty food vendors will offer up to fifty percent off next Thursday.
If you bring your receipt from a recent donation to Goodwill the first 1,500 will get in for nothing.
