MILWAUKEE- The orange cones lining Port Washington Road in Milwaukee are clear indications summer is here.

Whether you're tearing up a street or going beneath it to clean, the sewer workers are prepared.

Cool air is something DPW worker Tim Kinzey and co-worker Tony Smith are desperately seeking while on the job.

"You can't hide from the sun you just got to work with and know how to work it," said Tony Smith.

Working in a heat advisory requires these city workers to take a few extra breaks .

"You just gotta hydrate a little more and get out here and keep pushing," said Tim Kinzey.

They're working hard, but mother nature isn't cutting any breaks.
