MILWAUKEE - Day two of Summerfest brings fever-ish heat, Foo Fighters and Ben Folds Five to Milwaukee's lakefront.

The festival is providing another way for people to get in free.

The first 1,500 people who take a Klement's product label and a non-perishable food item get free admission.

The big artist at the Marcus Amphitheater Thursday night is the Foo Fighters.

The hard-rocking veterans have won 11 Grammy awards and sold millions of records since forming 18 years ago, but they are still one of the hardest working bands in music, constantly touring.

Silversun Pickups open up for them at 7:30 p.m.

Gary Allan headlines the Country Throwdown Tour at 10:00 p.m. at the Miller Lite Oasis.

Josh Thompson opens the triple-bill at 6:30 p.m., with Rodney Atkins following at 8:00 p.m.

Ben Folds Five tops a double bill at 9:45 p.m. at the BMO Harris Pavilion with Robert Francis opening at 8:00 p.m.

Another double bill can be found at the U.S. Cellular Connection Stage with Sleeper Agent at 10:00 p.m. and The Features at 8:00 p.m.

Four Milwaukee bands will headline stages as well.

Eric Benet takes the lead spot at the Briggs and Stratton Big Backyard at 9:30 p.m.

The newly reunited band The Promise Ring will headline the Harley-Davidson Roadhouse at 10:00 p.m.

Additionally, you can check out Boy Blue at the Cascio Interstate Music Groove Stage at 9:00 p.m., while Pat McCurdy headlines a double-bill at 9:00 p.m. at the Potawatomi Bingo Casino Stage with Sunny Sweeny opening at 7:00 p.m.

Gary Clark, Jr. performs at the Summerfest Rock Stage at 10:00 p.m.

Be sure, however, to get there early for Thursday's sleeper pick: R&B/soul singer Ryan Shaw.

He's a two-time Grammy nominee and is known for his high-energy live shows.

Check him out at the Rock Stage at 8:00 p.m
