Storm Team 4
Wednesday reached 93 degrees, Thursday could see 100-105 heat index
MILWAUKEE- The first day of Summerfest was met with a high temperature of 93 degrees.
That could pale in comparison to Thursday's heat index between 100 and 105 degrees, says Storm Team 4Caster John Malan.
The National Weather Service has issued a heat advisory for Thursday, 12:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., for all of southeastern Wisconsin.
"I think late afternoon and into the evening, we might get a little relief with a cool front," said Malan.
Malan said Wednesday's evening temperatures were higher than some of the midday highs we saw earlier this week, in the mid-70s.
For Thursday, it is supposed to be sunny to partly cloudy, hot and humid with a slight chance of an isolated shower or T'storm late.
