3 taken to hospital after Madison fire
MADISON, Wis. (AP) -- An apartment fire in Madison early Wednesday has sent three people to the hospital.
Fire officials tell WKOW-TV (http://bit.ly/NASuTe ) about 40 to 50 people were evacuated from the apartment building and three occupants were rescued from the second floor.
The fire started just after 3:30 a.m.
