Milwaukee police seek serial bank robber

MILWAUKEE - Police believe one man is responsible for five recent bank robberies in Milwaukee and the suburbs.

The most recent robbery was at the Tri-City Bank at 3378 S. 27th Street.

According to police, the man goes into bank and gives the teller a note demanding money.  Sometimes the man reaches into his waistband as if he has a gun, but no one has ever witnessed him holding a gun, said police.

The suspect is black, 35 to 50 years old, 5'2" to 5'7", weighs around 140 to 170 pounds with a medium stocky build.

So far, there hasn't been any violence, but police believe that could change.

The Journal Sentinel reports man has allegedly robbed:
Tri-City Bank, 3378 S. 27th St., at 11:53 a.m. May 29 and 9:31 a.m. Monday.

North Shore Bank, 4230 W. Oklahoma Ave., at 9:13 a.m. June 8.

Associated Bank, 2590 N. Downer Ave., 4:10 p.m. June 8.

Anchor Bank, 5101 S. 27th St., Greenfield, at 10:18 a.m. June 19.
