Cool Monday before warmup toward triple digits in Milwaukee
MILWAUKEE - Monday is set to bring a beautiful but cool day in the Milwaukee.
It could be the last of those days before high temperatures inch up toward 100 degrees in our area.
"Canadian high pressure sinking in to the region will briefly cool our temperatures with a northerly component to the winds," said Storm Team 4Caster Scott Steele.
"The ridge will keep our high temperatures to near 70 degrees on Monday with a large warm up for the rest of the week with an abundance of sunshine."
The word large is an understatement, as highs are expected to reach triple digits.
"Heat and humidity return to the region by Wednesday with some locations topping 100 degrees on Thursday."
