Man, teenager injured in overnight shootings

MILWAUKEE - A man and a teenaged boy were injured in a pair of unrelated shootings Saturday night, the Milwaukee Police Department said Sunday.

"The first incident occurred in the 1300 block of West Cottage at 10:10 pm," Milwaukee Police Captain Andra Williams said in a news release.  "The victim, a 22 year-old man suffered a non life-threatening gunshot wound and was conveyed to a local hospital for treatment."

"The three suspects fled the scene in what was believed to be a brown Buick Century."

Just 13 minutes later, in the 4700 block of N. 76th St., a 17 year-old boy was shot and suffered non-life threatening injuries.

"The Department is seeking information regarding this incident," Capt. Williams said.
