Storm Team 4
Sunny, seasonal Friday in Milwaukee
MILWAUKEE - People in Southeastern Wisconsin will get to enjoy mostly pleasant weather conditions for the next couple of days before a series of scattered showers and storms strike on Saturday night on Sunday.
"High pressure building into Southeast Wisconsin will usher in a quiet finish to the work week," said Storm Team 4Caster Scott Steele.
"We'll have plenty of sunshine and with a continued gentle northwest breeze, high temperatures will return to near seasonal averages of about 80 degrees."
Steele does say, however, that there is a chance of rain or storms halfway between Milwaukee and Green Bay.
"There is a ripple in the atmosphere to our north which could clip our northern counties with some afternoon showers or a thunderstorm, particularly in Fond du Lac and Sheboygan counties."
According to Scott, there's virtually no chance of rain on Saturday, until the evening.
"Saturday looks like a repeat performance, but without the risk of any wet weather and a great day to enjoy the outdoors," explained Scott.
"Another disturbance approaches our region Saturday night and Sunday, but it should only produce some scattered showers and thunderstorms, certainly not a washout to finish the weekend."
