MILWAUKEE- A Milwaukee couple was killed in a freak accident in Clark County.

The grief is almost too much to bear for Rebecca Domenech.  She was woken up in the middle of the night by a Clark County deputy -- asking about her mother Susan Jurceka, and her stepfather Thomas Jurceka.

"I asked them if they suffered and they said 'no' and I said would anybody be able to help them, and they said 'no,'" said Domenech.  "They were making it sound like the truck was abandoned and they couldn't find my parents so I kept trying to call them and I kept getting voicemail."

Overnight into Thursday morning, the couple was visiting Clark County when they crashed their truck into a washout on County Road M.  Authorities don't know exactly when.  But they do know the couple's car was crushed by a second vehicle.  That driver also died.  Hours later, officers gave Rebecca the news.

"I thought I was dreaming because I had been up all night sick and I couldn't go to sleep," recalled Rebecca Domenech.

Thomas' son Philip showed up to be with his sister, and remember his loving father.

"Hero, definitely the person I am today is because of him," said Philip Jurceka.

Described as soulmates, the couple lived and died together -- leaving behind many who will miss them, and make sure their kindness is never forgotten.

"If they had $10 in their pocket and we needed five, they would give us the five," described Rebecca Domenech.

Rebecca told TODAY'S TMJ4 the two were both organ donors, so she's hoping something good can come from this.  She also said she's grateful because her mother always wanted to go to Paris, and Rebecca was finally able to take her.
