Flynn to testify about crime stats before Milwaukee committee
MILWAUKEE - Milwaukee Police Chief Ed Flynn was set to testify Thursday before the Milwaukee Common Council Public Safety Committee.
He was to address flaws in the department's crime data.
The request for Flynn's testimony came after a Journal Sentinel investigation found that department workers misclassified hundreds of serious assaults over the past three years.
