LAKE GENEVA - Police arrested a Big Brothers Big Sisters volunteer following claims that he repeatedly sexually assaulted a child.  The Walworth County District Attorney's office identified the suspect as 51-year-old Rodney Meiller.

An 11-year-old boy told police he was sexually assaulted multiple times by Meiller.

The child and his mother told investigators the abuse happened at Meiller's home in the Town of Lafayette and at the Lake Geneva YMCA.

A YMCA board member told TODAY'S TMJ4 that Meiller was not a member, Meiller brought the child to the club on day passes and the YMCA has no official partnership with Big Brothers Big Sisters.

"Upon learning of the allegation we terminated the volunteer's association with us," Richard Lowe, Executive Director of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Rock, Walworth and Jefferson Counties,  wrote in an email.  "Our volunteers and staff undergo thorough screening and background checks."

Meiller ran from a TODAY'S TMJ4 camera outside the Walworth County Jail on Wednesday and refused to answer questions.

No one from the Lake Geneva Police Department or district attorney's office would comment because charges are still pending.

Meiller appeared in court Tuesday for a bond hearing.  He is due in court for an initial appearance next week.
