FOND DU LAC- A teen accused in a Fond du Lac County crash that killed three of her friends and injured five others made an initial court appearance Tuesday.

18-year-old Carly Ottery is charged with three counts of homicide by negligent operation of a vehicle. Prosecutors say Ottery was going more than 100 mph in a town of Ashford road Feb. 4 when she lost control and crashed in a field.

Fifteen-year-old Sabrina Stahl, 16-year-old Katie Berg and 17-year-old Caitlin Scannell were killed.

TODAY'S TMJ4's Cody Holyoke reports that Ottery had support in the courtroom from girls who were inside the car with her, and even family members of the girls who died.

Prosecutors asked for a light bail, even though she faces the homicide counts.

"Ms. Ottery is not a flight risk.  She's been here the entire time, so we just simply requested a signature bond," said Fond du Lac County District Attorney Christian Gossett.

"Everybody was in agreement.  There was no alcohol or drug concerns that we're aware of.  It's just simply, 'Don't get into trouble and everything will be fine.' "

Ottery remains free on a $5,000 signature bond.  It is likely that she would accept a plea deal from prosecutors.

A preliminary hearing is scheduled July 27.
