WAUWATOSA - A woman has been hospitalized after being ejected from a vehicle during a rollover crash on U.S. 45.

Milwaukee County Sheriff's deputies closed the two left lanes of the freeway after the crash which happened at about 6:25 a.m. Monday morning.

Crews re-opened the lanes at about 7:40 a.m.

A Sheriff's spokeswoman said that two cars collided, leading to the woman being ejected.

She was conscious and breathing when rescue crews got to the scene, and she was taken to a local hospital.  There was no specific word on her condition.

According to the spokeswoman, the driver of the other vehicle had a revoked license.

As of 7:00 a.m., drivers were encountering up to a one hour and 10 minute backup from the Hale Interchange to Good Hope Road due to the delays caused by the lane closures.
