WEST ALLIS, Wis. - Retired racecar legend, Michael Andretti, took the microphone ahead of the "start your engines" command, and told cheering spectators Saturday that this will happen again in 2013.

Despite low turnout last year, Andretti's company was successful in bringing the IndyCar Series back to the Milwaukee Mile for Saturday's race on the grounds of the State Fair Park.

Andretti Sports Marketing didn't give up, saying turnout wouldn't change overnight and he anticipates more and more fans will go to the Milwaukee IndyFest 225 in years to come.

Saturday's race was delayed a bit due to the rain.

Once the skies cleared, pit crews swept the water from the pit area and trucks circled the track to dry it up, allowing the race to begin shortly before 2pm.

Tickets for next year are already expected to go on sale through the MilwaukeeIndyFest.com website on Sunday, June 17th, and on Monday through the  State Fair Park box office at (414) 266-7100.
