Previewing Milwaukee's festivals, big events coming up this weekend
MILWAUKEE - There are so many things to do around Milwaukee this weekend and TODAY'S TMJ4 reporter Shelley Walcott took in some of the festivals where we expect a lot of people are going to be hanging out.
The party's already underway at Summerfest grounds where Polish Fest kicked off Friday afternoon.
Hundreds enjoying everything from polka to pierogies.
Also by Lake Michigan this weekend: the Lakefront Festival of Arts. It is event's 50th anniversary.
176 artists from across the world are in town to show off everything from wall hangings and paintings and drawings to jewelry and wearable art. There's also a wine bar, music, and kids' art projects.
Also in town: Milwaukee Indyfest. Stars of the Izod IndyCar series will rumble to life at the Milwaukee Mile.
And then there's Lego Kidsfest at Frontier Airlines Center: Three acres of hands-on fun, and building tips from Lego masters.
