GLENDALE - A man is seriously hurt after a crash shut down traffic near Good Hope Rd. and Green Bay Rd. Friday afternoon.

Witnesses tell TODAY'S TMJ4 a Cadillac sped through a red light -- setting into action a wild chain of events.

The car apparently struck an SUV which spun that vehicle into three other cars.

Doris Teat was in the accident and helped until medics could arrive. A Flight for Life crew worked on stabilizing that man before rushing him away for treatment.  "The first thing I did was pray.  I prayed on him at that moment, and probably about 3 or 4 times," said Teat.

TODAY'S TMJ4 reports that man is fighting for his life at a local hospital.  Police say he was the only serious injury as a result of the crash.

Good Hope Road was shut down in both directions, but several lanes have since been reopened.

Glendale authorities are investigating this crash.
