Storm Team 4
'Things really warming up' in Milwaukee
MILWAUKEE - Say goodbye to the cooler weather we've experienced this week in Milwaukee, and say hello to heavy heat in our area.
"Things really warming up," said Storm Team 4Caster Michael Fish, who says that people in Waukesha and inland areas are expected to see highs in the 90's.
Precipitation could also show up on Friday as well in part of our area.
"There's a very slim threat of a shower well off to the north," explained Michael. "The best chance of rain tonight will be well off to the north, closer to a stationary front."
Michael tells us there are slight chances for showers or a thunderstorm on Saturday, with somewhat cooler temperatures - though not a dramatic cool off.
"Our best chance of rain for the whole weekend will be Saturday night. It looks like overnight will be the best chance of seeing storms roll through."
Father's Day should also mean temperatures in the 80's with a slight chance for rain or a storm. Then, according to Michael, "Monday is when the really warm and humid stretch starts. Get ready for things to really feel like summer."
