Daytime shooting Thursday on Milwaukee's north side

MILWAUKEE - Milwaukee Police spent Thursday afternoon investigating a daytime shooting on the city's north side.

Sources tell TODAY'S TMJ4's Jermont Terry that someone shot a man in the leg.

The shooting happened before 12:30 p.m. near the corner of North 40th and West Thurston Street.

Witnesses told Terry they heard four shots.

According to sources, friends took the victim to a hospital.  There was no initial word on the victim's condition.
