Marquette Interchange closures set for Friday night

MILWAUKEE - The Wisconsin Department of Transportation says that crews will close ramps in the Marquette Interchange on Friday night and Saturday morning so they can complete a lane reconfiguration project.

The following ramps will close between 8:00 p.m. Friday and 8:00 a.m. Saturday, with suggested detours listed:

I-43/94 northbound to I-94 westbound
- Detour option 1: Exit I-43/94 at 10th/Michigan Streets exit, turn left and go west on Michigan Street, then turn left and go south on 11th Street to the I-94 westbound entry ramp
- Detour option 2: Exit on I-794 eastbound, get off freeway at Plankinton Avenue.  Turn left and go west on Clybourn Street, then enter I-794 westbound at 7th Street to go west on I-94.

I-43 southbound to I-94 westbound
- Exit on I-794 eastbound, get off freeway at Plankinton Avenue.  Turn left and go west on Clybourn Street, then enter I-794 westbound at 7th Street to go west on I-94.
